BSE received recognition during the AISTech 2022 for its contributions to the steel industry:
Patrick Hansert received together with our friends and partners at Nucor the “Charles W Briggs Award 2022” for his 2021 paper “Implementation of the Tiltable Sidewall Burner at Nucor Steel Tuscaloosa”.
Dr. Felix Firsbach, Per Lückhoff, Patrick Hansert & van der Velden Peter wrote the paper “The roadmap from BOF toward EAF operation”. The main author and presenter Felix was heavily involved in establishing the “AIST Decarbonisation Sub-Committee” (DSC). This new AIST platform was created to exchange and inform about the #green #steel #transition – It will help to better evaluate its actual feasibilities.
