Commercial Metals Company places order with Badische Stahl Engineering, BSE.
CMC Steel Arizona in Mesa, AZ just awarded BSE with an order for the SandMan. The SandMan is a tool for ladle sand filling and will provide automation, precision, safety and ergonomics for this process. BSW is operating this tool since 2021 and is now reaching opening rates beyond 99%. The installation and commissioning at CMC Arizona 2 will take place in 2023.
